The single point attachment fakes have the wings that touch the wreath. I prefer the Assmann buckles with the three attachment point and I have see two point attachments I like. I seem to remember my first Luftwaffe brocade had a single point like this buckle. That was over 40 years ago and the repos back then were the DRGM with the nut. I think the buckle is probably original.

Not one for me, there are several threads on these buckles, wings touching the wreath and the OLC markings, when I get time there is a good thread on this buckle, I will try and have a good look at some point, I am away for the bank holiday

I think that the buckle is original
- The big OLC marking on buckle's top edge
- The frost of the eagle
- The good details
- There is one or two rows of dots between the wing tips and the wreath
