What do you think about this maker

I was just checking some of my stuff and noticed that the maker name on my leather tab( b,haarmann ludenscheid) is spelled differently than the one in angolia's book,belt buckles and brocades of the third reich (hoarmann ludenscheid),typo ????

Dave, more than likely a typo error, as I've not seen it spelled this way anywhere else.

Hello Guys,

I agree with Tom...a typo and I personally would always trust the marking/spelling on an original piece over that in a book. Also interesting to note is another typo in regards to "13" which should read "Paul Schuhmacher."

The authors of these older publications did not have the benefit of a spell checker etc, only a proof reader.
