1st pattern Luftwaffe dagger help

being offered this for 400. i am thinking more like 300.
how does it look to you guys?

I am with you 300-375 max IMO to me but I like it wish you luck on it.
It is a good 1st pattern dagger the split leather buffer is common that I have seen.

Not being 100% on daggers but to me the wire looks like it could have been replaced at some time due to the excessive wear in the grooves, almost as if original wire was loose and was rubbing the sides, this wire looks tight and wouldnt cause that type of wear, but i could be looking too deeply into it

Overall, it is not in great shape - but in excellent condition, these usually
sell for over $800. It is below average and something I could live
without unless it were very cheap.........
