    Sorry Gents I lost the write up when saving the photo on this so called German sword as it was described in Craigs list,, and the original price was about $1000. If someone can find the listing again please post the "text" on this thread. I would say by not seeing the blade the dagger is worth about $600-700. This is an Average 2nd luft dagger,, with no details and other photos. Examples like this I dont mind to see being posted here as it looks original due to the patina. 1 photo IMO is not enough regardless of the patina and condition will not get me to buy it.     Now he needs a set of those Blue country dishes you see out west,, some potpourie,, and pine cones,, and that 2nd Luft will REALLY STAND OUT!!

    Well first he has to put it the right way in its scabbard, before Ade sees it
    and then tie the portepee the right way, it looks a bit "lost" this way.

    and i would certainly not declare it an Original with only 1 picture in its scabbard, that just doesnt add anything.
    make a decent set of pictures and we can do business

    Craigs List is a classified ad network here in the states. private sales mostly. Everything from cars to food to houses. I have a friend buy a truck on there. He got a good deal and it turned out alright. Lucky man.
