Buying a luftwaffe dagger in 2 days if you guys can tell me it's genuine.

So this is actually my first post and first time on the forum. Happy to say that I liked it so much I became a gold member after 10 mins. If my fellow collectors would please look at the attached photos to make sure I'm not going to get ripped off I would appreciate it very much. Also, would $600 be too much to pay for it. Hi, looks good from what I can see, looks to be in good shape too. The ferule looks like it may have been replaced, also are there any makers marks on the blade?

Oh yes, im sorry I missed it, but see it now. It all looks good, except for what I mentioned before, perhaps the ferule was replaced.

Others will give you specialist insight into this maker. But steel ferules are not unknown and often look like they don't match the rest of the dagger. The dagger looks fine to me.

$600 is far too much.

The pebbles on the left and right side on the back of the crossguard look a little strange on the pictures.
Is it just the pictures or are they damaged?
I'm am not trying to debunk the dagger in anyway, just curious.

Wait for a few more opinions from our Luftwaffe Experts..Im seeing what appears fake aging process on the grip eagle..BUT..it also may be the lighting. Be patient bttter to be safe than sorry. Enjoy your stay Regards Larry
