Re: DLV Fliegermesser, what do you think of this one guys?
Thx Ade,
i was disappointed when i got the new pics.
They showed that they tried to denazify it, on the crossguard all along the swastika plate they tried to hammer the plate of it.
It chipped the swastika, he didn't mentioned it when i made my bid and asked for detailed pictures.
He sold it for 600 euro to me, but after the pictures i told him to look for another buyer because i will not pay more then 450 euro's for it.
He said the knife was in good condition, only the leather from the scabbard has mayor wear, unfortunately the knife wasn't that good after all.

You were wise not to purchase it. It's always better to pay a little more for a quality dagger. The "K" you asked about is the caster's mark.

Re: DLV Fliegermesser, what do you think of this one guys?
Are these dropping out of the woodwork or what. I traded for one today 10/31/10 and its a beaut. The grip has a couple of places (small) where the leather is missing and there is some general wear in the grip. There is some wear on the leather covering on the scabbard and the ball has a small scrape on it.
Could someone tell me what the difference between a DLV and NSFK knife would be?
