First pattern Luftwaffe dagger by SMF
With the very much appreciated assistance of our own Mr Hessels, I am now the proud owner of this amazing Luftwaffe dagger. When I wanted one, it had to be the best and I think there will be fewer out there that are in such well preserved condition as this.
I don't love it because that would be wierd! But my wife sure does competition for the space next to me on the bed ha ha!

Well done 2 Jamie.....a key ingredient with these 1st Luftwaffe nickel types ..is to acquire one with all the silvering between the swaztika legs on the pommel and cross guard. Looks like the pommel has some left.

This pattern is one if not my favorite dagger. You have got a fine dagger there my friend, you will be staring at it for days....

Hi Jamie when i had that piece of candy in my hand for the first time i instantly loved it, so when you asked me for some assistence in finding one all i had to do was picking it up for you and ship it to Scotland, i'm glad to help you out on this one.
This early full nickel piece is as good as they come, and Danny was so Lucky to give it an in hand inspection too, as he visited me the day after it landed on my doorstep.
He loves it!
This is one of those gems that no picture can realy do it justice, although you made some quality pics there J.!
