Hi all,i'd like your opinions on this First Luft miniature, 25 cm of lemght...the maker mark seems nt very crisp so i have a little concern...many thanks

my 2 cents:

the grip is not what i would expect on a Hörster mini, the leather and that type of gripwire is not commonly seen on Hörster mini's:
I would like to see a celluloid grip with a twisted wire.
I would pass on this one.

thanks Ger...my idea is that the grip has been taken from a luft sword miniature and the wire was replaced

I would not be too sure that Horster didn't use both type of grips both celluloid and leather covered.

I think it is perfectly reasonable that the leather grip was on more of a luxury item.

Hi Doug,

i didnt say it couldnt be Original, i said: not what i expect on a Hörster mini, in fact i have seen dozens all having the celluloid grip.
In this case i simply prefer a well known textbook example over a "DeLuxe" example.

thats why i said: my 2 cents....
