    Hi Mr. Aurel...I see no issues with this dagger as it is common to have a No Maker Luft dagger. Sharper Luft eyes will be able to tell you exactly by the detail of the fittings who the producer might be. Looks like a decent example Regards Larry

    Hi, from this photos, which are not very sharp I can only say that this dagger has Generic scabbard - nickel plated? and Generic crossguard and pommel. But in my opinion this is very nice 2nd. model Luftwaffe dagger with unmarked blade.

    Looks okey to me...but why was it needed to strip it down into parts? The grip material is Very fragile with the age of 7 decades now....I imagine that many of them become cracked or damaged from such occurrences..

    I share the same thoughts William!

    Dont take them apart if not needed, why risk damaging a dagger when its a very common one?
    It doesnt make sense to me, when there is a serious question about it being genuine its another story.

    The casting under the crossguard and on the pommel are normals ?
