Luftwaffe Dagger 2nd version. Fake?

Article about: I have done some research here on forum on my dagger. I can't really tell if it's fake or not. It's stamped F Hörster Solingen under the Swas. No numbers or other markings. I will be happy i

    I agree it looks strange, but it looks like it is the ring itself which has worn the the fitting. I will post a picture 'looking' through the fitting. I don't think any polishing wheel will fit in there. Any opinion on good or bad?

    Some pictures of the fittings. I don't want to 'Nerd' too much about it, but i find it a little odd. Never seen it on other daggers. Fittings seems to be of a softer material than rings. Looks like the dagger have been hanging horizontally on the right hip, according to wear. Ring fits perfectly in the groove.
