Luftwaffe Dagger, E&F Horster Aluminium
Been a quiet year for me on the "blade" front but I recently purchased this lovely example of a Luftwaffe Officers dolch.
Made by E&F Horster, the fittings and chain hanger are all made of aluminium, a relatively new and wonderful light metal.
Lovely blue Moroccan leather on the grip and scabbard, the wire is still tightly bound and has a nice patina.
