Luftwaffe gravity knife: whats this number about

i have a gravity knife and found this number today 1434
the other numbers are a 2 on the lock and under that stands 268 is this also a factory number

These are factory assembly numbers. Mine is numbered "851" on both side plate and catch.

only damage is the lock for the spike is missing[broken]
and the blade has been grinded maker mark intact and its still darn sharp
