Stunning example John!! ...the even patina really brings out the beauty. I always preferred the Brass medallion swaz..over the aluminum type. Thanks for sharing this and adding to the forum.

Thanks harry and larry, I prefer this style also, alot of the aluminum examples look like they were just made yesterday, although looking mint is a big attraction and I would not turn one down I just prefer the aged look for this specific model.

I have the second model but have always loved and wanted the first model. Your's is a beauty!!!!!! The blade on it look immaculate. Just pure eye candy!!!!!! Thanks for sharing !!!!

Max you need to get an SMF 2nd luft which are notable for retaining their gold gilting in their pommel swaz. This combination of both the 1st and 2nd would make for a nice display coupled with a breast eagle and maybe some collar tabs.
