A nice attribute to the Eickhorn is the monogram stamped tang of the talented damascus artisan Paul Dinger. At first I couldn't rectify why or how Dinger would have been involved with the production of a plane-jane Eickhorn made flyersword. A long term damascus collector filled in the blanks for me and now it makes perfect sense.

A pretty cool piece- and what's most impressive is the piece was hand forged by Dinger, and not machine rolled. A nice litte plus to your Eickhorn.

Well done Pam and you've got a couple neat Luftwaffe flyerswords. A must for any serious Luftwaffe collector- or saber collector for that matter.

I'll have to check the spelling..............!
