Total fantasy knife - never German military issue.

However, the design did exist in reality.

Joseph Rodgers applied for a patent for a metal pantograph knife in the nineteenth century.

There was also I believe a patent in Germany in the 1920s.

The SS marked knives are valueless to a collector.

Find a authenticated Rodgers version and you will be a rich man !

This is a fantasy knife good looking, but not the real deal.

As already stated, these are fantasy items dating from the 1970's. Curiously enough, they do have a value. Some people like them for what they are and i have seen them sell for up to $100. Crazy if you ask me, but there you go....

    Cheers, Ade.

The first time I saw these was when Sussex Armoury were selling them back in the 80's.

They retail for $18.00 on several sites and I have seen them as low as $10.00. They are total fantasy Third Reich knives.

That's really what they are worth, more or less, though only as a curiosity.........
