Default 1914 DWM Luger Proof Markings Info

I received a DWM 1914 9mm Luger from my dad who picked it up sometime during WW2. Trying to figure out what the markings on left side rail are, maybe Prussian, but not sure. That is why I am here!

Took it to the Gun Store, they looked it over and said its in perfect shape for firing. Took it out and fired 50 rounds, very fun and very accurate!

I am sure the grips are not original. The gun has been re-worked thru an armory and some numbers do not all match original serial number. It has a 4 digit serial number with a funny shaped u about 1/4 inch beneath the number on the curved portion.

If anyone knows what the proof markings are, where they may be from and when the gun was actually manufactured, I would be very grateful. Thank You in advance! And hope I posted in the correct thread.
