In Norway they ain't that bad, the price for a working and a sealed(deaktivated) is almost the same, they are priced around 600-800 $
A lot of sellers in Norway don't want to sell it to people aboard, some do it, but they prefere to sell it within our country
Even the German helmets are cheep here, depends on the quality ofc, but I bought a very good Kriegsmarine helmet for 300$, but they often go for 460-800$

A NICE Luger my fellow collector from Norway!

My philosophy on deactivated weapons and live weapons is the following:

If it is deactivated then it is deactivated, buy it and enjoy it..
But if the weapon is live and you donít have the proper license,
leave it for another collector to enjoy, donít deactivate a weapon
unless it is of personal historic value..

    Best regards from Norway

Ugh - a rotten stinking dead body of a Luger.

Should be a special roped off forum for junk like this.
    Sorry for you.
Some people don't seem to be able to understand that many of us actually appreciate weapons for their historical value and design aesthetics... I'd love to be able to fire one, but the ability to do so or not is totally irrelevant to my interest in them. A lot of functioning historical weapons in America are often externally altered as a result of laws, which is just as bad.

    yup, beautiful piece sir.

don't deactivate something just so you can own it! pass it on to someone who can keep it alive!

    Lovely

The fact that in England you can get arrested for even handing into the police a live firearm, shows that the statement above "dont deactivate it etc" is truly an inconceivable option. Ronnie & I had one offered to us by a Vets son and he just wanted rid of it.... in all honesty I was too afraid to even go pick it up incase I got pulled on the way home. We left it and he has since handed it in at one of them "drop your weapons off and we wont do you type police things"
De-acts all the way for me!!
