Couple Matching Pistols

Article about: Great looking pair of pistols. Would love to have a P-38 and P-08 together. Thanks for showing.

    Default Couple Matching Pistols

    Greetings!

I was offered these recently and opted to bring them home with me. Both have all-matching numbers and are allegedly bring-backs from local area veterans. Minimal wear on both; the P08 has a G date (f series if I am reading it right) and what appears to be holster wear on the side plate and barrel. P38 is dated 1944. Neither are import marked and look to have been well cared-for!

I am very excited and wanted to share!

The luger looks very nice, made in 1935, is the take down toggle, trigger and safety catch strawed?

They are not strawed, which worried me when I considered this purchase. I have seen similar G dated ones with blued parts though, correct or not, and from the wear I don't think it was done recently on mine. I am still learning though! What are your thoughts?

Great looking pistols. The G date in very nice. I always like getting these vet bring backs. they are not usually messed with.
    Great find!!!
