DWM Luger No Date Proof Marks

Article about: Hi, I'm checking out this 4 inch barrel DWM Luger for a friend. Any idea what these proof marks mean? Also, it's a DWM without any date, does this mean it was a commercial rebuild? Thanks, P

    Hi,

I'm checking out this 4 inch barrel DWM Luger for a friend. Any idea what these proof marks mean? Also, it's a DWM without any date, does this mean it was a commercial rebuild?

    Thanks,
    Phil

It's a 1908 first military model. The Prussian eagle is a firing proof and the two crown/Fraktur stamps are military inspector stamps. Is there a unit marking on the grip strap?
