I was looking at one here at my local dealers-he had a number of Swiss service pistols: M1882 and M1929 revolvers, M1906 and M1929 Lugers and Sig 210s-looked at them and bought an M1882 revolver-the M1929 Luger was excellent but he was asking AU $3,500 which was out of my range really (still a live shooter though)-as to why the Swiss were turning out M29 revolvers at the same time as the Luger, the revolver cost US $23 equivalent vs $43 for a Luger!

That's a fair price but nice for a shooter 😊 wish we could still have them!

That's a fine looking Luger you got yourself!
How many do you have now Ben?
How do these Swiss made Lugers compare to German made ones?
Better made? Not that the German ones are poorly made.
    Jonathan.
