I wouldn't change the grips. They show how much the pistol has been used. Why change what is (possibly) original to the pistol? A lovely gun!

I think $4000 is very expensive for a semi relic Luger, i wouldn't buy it but that's just me!...
It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

I think it is a lot of money for what you have there. been around lugers a long time and that one is not worth 4000.00. Just my opinion.

The first luger you posted looks really nice, congrats! I wouldn't have wanted to change the grips either... they give the gun a certain air of history and character. The relic one is nice too but they're asking 10 times as much as it's really worth (imo), I'd stay away from someone wanting that much money for a relic gun.

i agree. Your first luger I would leave as is. just keep a light coat of oil on it and not change the grips. I don't know the market on relic lugers in your area, but I would not pay more than 400.00 for it. Just my opinion.
