    Very close to the 'Luger' in design.

    Back in the 60's Crossman also had a single shot airgun version similar to this one,
    but yours is closer to the 'P-08' than theirs was !

    The "Sparklets" are not the 'standard size' - like Crossman cylinders. These look shorter/smaller,
    and possibly made only for this manufacturers products. I had not seen this type before.

    hi zwerge , that`s a super looking air pistol , i remember Sparklets , they made soda syphons and those capsules were inserted

    Nice Schimel GP22 you got there Zwerge! I think these were the first ever Co2 powered pistols ever produced, the powerbulbs it used were 8grm, still available in home brew shops. Yours looks in nice condition, i saw one sell here in the U.K. last year for 180 quid that was not as nice as yours. Incidently, they also produced a pneumatic model, the P22, if you've got one of them it's worth well over a grand! Thanks for showing, a very desirable piece.

    Thanks guys,mine is an early model marked P22 serial 4159X, the pneumatic model was apparently marked AP22,the later gas models were marked GP22.

    Here is one I got in the early 2000's !
    It is a 'Webley Premier'.......sort of Luger-like.
