Very nice 06, congrats. Swiss Luger's are my favorite Luger's . Posted awhile back in the Luger section. I have the 1900, 06/24 and the 29 all in mint condition with holsters. Only the 06/29 has 2 magazines.

Very nice M1906 Swiss luger, just looking in my "Lugers at Random" book, your looks like the 1906 "Cross in shield" version. What is the serial number for yours? Also does it have the DMW scross on the front link?

    Cheers

Many thanks Jean, that sounds right with the book, the serial numbers went from 5000 - 15215 but this includes the sunburst variation as well. It says that the sunburst range went from 5000 - 10000 and the cross in shield went from 10000 - 15215 which would be correct with your gun. That would make your gun number 4305 out of 5215 that were made

If you are unsure here is a pic of what they refer to as the sunburst luger, these were serial numbered from 5000 - 9999
