    I think they look ok, except from the writing on the side on one of them. But i would say 1400 $ is too much.

    yes i agree to you i will chose the non writing one how much i should pay for it as a maximum price

    Paulus,
    The first Luger:
    has a finish that is much different from original.
    has a renumbered sideplate, not good for collecting
    has what appears to be origianal bakelite grips
    What is the code on the toggle byf or 42?
    The second Luger:
    Has a finish very close to original
    looks like all major parts match
    has replacement grips- this can be corrected
    Although # 2 has writing on the side this one looks to be a better example, and would be my choice.

    Gents........ You will pay that plus, in GBpounds here in the U.K. average price for a Luger is £800, and that will be a deac ! Paulus, the second one looks the best. Prost ! Steve.

    is the maket writing makes problem on the first luger why there is such a writing on it i dont understand

    they look to have electro stenseling from russian capture
    also very badly deactivated (ie) whole length of the barels have been slotted
    there are much better available
    i personaly would not buy either of them
    espesialy at that price
    imho ian
