Cheers Ade, that's good to know. If you don't see me on the forum much on Sunday, you'll know where I am.

Yes its not bad provided all the stalls turn up, went there last year but the weather was awful so half the stalls didnt turn up, but its not bad for militaria as a rule, picked up two helmet liners 3 yrs ago and a ww1 chin strap total £60, doubt that now though.

    Hi Adrian,
Bedford arms fair has on the whole always been worth the trip, this is quite a small fair though and certainly nothing along the lines of the Stoneleigh show, there's normally a little bit of everything to suit all tastes and collections and the admission price is also very reasonable, I keep meaning to go as a trader and have a stall there but I've never get around to it, I'd book one year but the people who run the show screwed up my booking so I never got the chance, so maybe its about time I looked at this show again.

I was in the area and went along to see what was there. I saw John Brandon from Eagle Relics and had a chat to him for a while, he said the same faces and the same stuff for sale were there as you will see at most events. There were some decent Third Reich items there and also some that were not so good. The stalls had a fair mix of everything, there seemed to be alot of specific gun dealers and for me it was worth the visit just to browse and look around. It made a change to handle the items rather than view them through my monitor.
I enjoyed it and should probably make the effort to go to a few more of these fairs.
