Hi Allan, that is a tough question. For me it it just 35 mins drive.

It very much depends on what you collect? The show is very good for antique guns etc. WW2 militaria is the second biggest part of the stalls.

I don't think I personally would drive hours and hours to attend. Better to go to Beltring if you are going to drive a long way as this would potentially be more worthwhile, but again it depends on your collecting interests.

I actually enjoy the social element to shows more than anything now.

    Cheers, Ade.

Thanks for the tip will probably give that one a miss. I collect German and other Axis militaria. Living so far north all the better gear is further down the country or on the net. It gets a little samey seeing the same medals and badges in display cases over and over though. I went to the pudsey fair a few weeks back and had a much more exciting time there. I picked up some nice little pieces too. So really I'm on the hunt for variety and a change of scenery and if I see something worth while then that's a bonus

Hi Allan, I think if you enjoyed Pudsey you would actually enjoy Birmingham too.

    Cheers, Ade.

I really enjoyed the Leeds event. So won't write this one off just yet. I assume it's bigger than the Leeds venue? May be worth a visit as it will be more appealing to southern dealers who I haven't come across yet.

The show is spread over three good sized rooms. It is well lit and airy. It is slightly larger than Pudsey.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Hi Alan
I live in hartlepool and its a good three hour run but well worth the bother. There is a good mix of items lots of antique wepons as well as ww2 items.
