    Nevertheless, I suspect that the clasp is in bronze. It became silver after a polish. I judge by a color of the fastener and the plate. What do you think? Are there particular differences between silver and bronze variants?

    Sorry, my apologies, this is a bronze grade.
    I was busy looking at authenticity, missed the "silver" in your title.

    Yes, it is for sale as silver, but at a price of bronze variant.

    It's genuine, but every trace of finish has been lost-to the point of it actually resembling after being over cleaned, a silver grade -which it is not, of course. But, despite it being original, I would not have it in my collection. It's condition is simply too poor and will effect it's future value and sellability.
