Field modified? Sturmgepäck, it's minus it's mounting clips on the rear but gained a carrying handle made from a cargo strap. Not in the best of condition with some staining etc, but for £16 i'm more than happy.

Nice Find and great price Paul ,I'm not familiar with these fully opening packs so it's great to see one in better detail, i like the field made handle ,would you know if this is an example of the earlier type pack or just a variation and perhaps in hand you will might well find a date stamp too

It's got a very faint stamp that looks like it's 1963 James.

Thanks Paul ,what i like about it is the easy access openings and aside from the camo covering echoes the earlier TR M39 Tornister design
