Great score , wish we had sales like that .
Hi, mates !
As mentioned, bought this three knives out of the trunk of a collector´s mate´s car two days ago.
Among them an NVA, ("Nationale Volksarmee") "Kampfmesser 66", (3rd pattern), consecutive Number of the "KM66": 11937
Also, an, polish, "Wz.92.", ("nóż wojskowy wz. 92."), combat knife.
AFAIK this knives were, (still, are ?), issued in the "Kompanii Specjalnej 62", or: "Szkolenie spadochronowe w 62 KS", "62 Kompania Specjalna", or: "62 Kompanii Specjalnej w Bolesławcu"
Is this correct ?
Saw such pattern knives marked upon the blade with: GERLACH
Upon the blade of my knife I recoknize the hallmark EP DESIGN ? ...
What´s the meaning of this stamp ?
Probably, Emil Pąsiek ? ...
Are knives, marked with EP DESIGN, manufactured for the polish Army originally, (were they "Army issued" actually ?), or, were they manufactured for the "commercial market" ? ...
Thx. in advance,
R.
P.S.:
Lenght of the blade: ca. 173 mm
I really like to see the stuff that you pick up. Your posts really open my eyes to some of the more obscure knives that I wouldn't normally think about. Cheers
Thx. a lot, very kind !
Hi, mates, received another polish combat knife KS62, also known as
Nóż wojskowy szturmowy wz 92 Szturman 62 KS
or,
Nóż szturmowy wz 92 Chorążego Wyrwała 62 KS
Nóż bojowy wz.92 używany przez jednostki specjalne Wojska Polskiego
should be the legit designation of this, polish, combat knife as far as I know.
blade lenght: 174 mm
overall lenght: 299 mm
thickness of the blade: 5,5 mm
width of the blade: 24 mm
