    Looks good and yes it' be from the late 50s through the 60s until the 70s when the later liner system was introduced, the only thing that looks a little odd are the foam pads between the liner and shell, on the lid i used to own and on others i have seen the foam has been bright orange!...
    It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

    I seen orange and red ones, but those look and feel the same as those on fire helmets.

    very nice example George here is an interesting link for you ,it would seem there are 4 versions of the lightweight helmet DDR Helmets
