MDI Cap - M43 style?

Hi Guys,

Picked up a couple of really cheap caps today.
First one is a summer side cap. I can't read the stamps in it. It's large.
Badge is embroidered.
Second one is almost a M43 style cap?
What department wore this style? Regular army?
What uniform did it go with?
1988 marker?

Hi Danger,

The cap in the pictures is a field cap issued to Die Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse (Combat Groups of the Working Class). These can be found with either the MdI or NVA stamps. This style of cap was also worn by the army in the 1950's.

Here is a photo of Kampfgruppen members wearing the full uniform.
