Hi, mates !
Wanna show you this window-flags, (seven pcs.), used in the former GDR.
Catched them on a flea-marked, several yrs. ago, here in Austria.
The manufacturer is an VEB, ("Volkseigener Betrieb), in Radebeul.
Not really that important to show this flags, but, Radebeul is an very important station during the escape of an part of my family from east, towards west in 1945 ! ...
Cheers,
R.
nice flag...ah go on, OPEN IT...you know you want to.........
Hi Rene, Nice lots. May I suggest that the flag or banner is possibly for display as rout liner banners and suspended from lamp posts etc. I aquired two of them made from different heavy duty fabrics some time ago have attributed them to lamp posts?? I may be way off the mark so if anyone has other knowledge or ideas it would be interesting to hear them???
Happy hunting Rene!!! Regards Michael
