Firstly thanks for accepting me on to the forum. I found it by chance when searching for a lead on some information and I expect to be delving in quite often.

As a serving fire officer and brigade history researcher and writer my main focus is WW2 home front, but I've also a great interest in all military matters too, after all it's in the family as before the fire service I 'did my bit' in the army and so did every one of my direct line ancestors right back to my 3x-great grandfather Pte John Corr who served with the 32nd Foot at Waterloo.
