Hello, New collector of WWII looking to add on to some of my Grandfather's stuff.
Welcome to the forum, and to the weird and wonderful world of militaria collecting!

Welcome Jack.
Is your "Grandfather's stuff" things he collected or from his service?

Can i get moth holes fixed on my Grandfather's uniform.
Even got a moth hole on the hat...smh
I would leave it untouched. And that is the general advice you will get from most collectors. Key is to stop the moths creating more holes. You can however replace the buttons. That is acceptable.
I would also post this in the right section of the forum and what ever information you might have on your grandfather. The uniform is great and the guys would love to see it.
Post it here.

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Agree leave it as is. If concerned about moths ceder chips in the pockets will be fine or some moth balls. I am out of town until Monday but will be able to better assist then
