Retired Air Force, I'm an avid militaria collector along with being a milsurp weapons collector, and a military history buff. I've been reading through a lot of the posts here, and thought it would be a great forum to join. In the Air Force I did Aircrew Life Support so I have a lot of knowledge on modern aircrew flight and survival equipment. I've got about a dozen different ground helmets, 4 flight helmets, AC-130 Gunship shell casings from Desert Storm, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. Plus a bunch of other misc military stuff.

All packed away right now, due to the damage the house sustained during Hurricane Michael. So I'm living through yalls pictures and collections, until we can put our house back together and I can re-display my collection.

Naw, was medically retired as an E-6 Tech Sergeant. Had aspirations of going higher and into a HQ position in my career field. I was being groomed for a HQ slot, along with getting ready to ship out during the build-up for the Iraqi invasion, when I had a major heart attack. That put a damper on any advancement and I managed to hang out for another 6 years, before being medically retired.

    Thank you for the welcome.

    Did the following deployments:

    Operation Desert Storm 1991 w/ 7th SOS
Operation Joint Endeavor IFOR 1996 w/ 5th SOS
Operation Joint Forge SFOR 1998 w/ 711th SOS
Operation Southern Watch 1999 71st RQS
Operation Enduring Freedom 2001 711th SOS
Operation Enduring Freedom 2002 711th SOS

    You are welcome.
My Aunt and cousins live in Florida, Clearwater area.
They lost their house a number of years ago as well.

Looked all over the profile area and for the life of me I can't find the signature area.

Go into "settings" at the top of the page next to the Log out button.
From there, you can pick "edit signature" on the left side of the page near the bottom.
