Chris,
In the New user section ,He has to be approved before his attachments will be seen on the site. This helps keep unwanted images from being posted here by one time wonders that at times post here. Apparently Mods can look at them ,but the commoner's have to wait until Admin approves the new user.
That is why you see this when you try to open his attachment

"Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
