Patch Identification

I purchased a patch at a flea market this weekend and could use some help identifying the logo. TIA.

The guy I bought this from said his great uncle brought this back from WWII. He also showed me photos of a few weapons that his great uncle brought back too: a Luftwaffe sword; a dagger; a bayonet; and a pistol; but he was keeping all of those, unfortunately.

I've had lots of views on my patch post, but nobody seems to recognize it. Calbe (the name on the patch) is a city in Germany, but that's all I've been able to figure out on my own.

Any guesses?
