1933 Hitler Commemorative Medalion

Although not 'propaganda' per se, these were struck in .835 silver to commemorate Hitler being elected as Chancellor.........
There are tinnies with a similar Hitler profile on them which were produced for the same event.

Genuine Eagle Order medals have the same 'Munze' rim markings....

Hi Steve, I just now saw your post. That is a wonderful medallion. I love the rim markings and the chains hanging in the right talon representing the eagle "freeing the German people". The old style "adler" is very cool also. It's amazing that at this point, Hitler was literally about to become a god to the German people. Thanks for showing.

The inscriptions read,

Obverse: "Ours The Future - Adolph Hitler"
Reverse: "In The Year Of The Turn Of German Destiny 1933"

The artist was Oskar Gloeckler, but the medallion is unsigned.

It probably came in a box or carton originally. I saw a bronze version
on-line recently selling for $85. Mine is .835 silver, with a 'crescent moon' mark.
