I picked that one up. I offered him $150 with shipping included. From what I've been told, the Bergbau (miner's association) never incorporated a sewn on swastika to their uniforms, so they are hard to place as being Third Reich items. I figured since this one was named and dated to 1939 it was a safe bet.

The seller was also in Sarasota. You wouldn't happen to be the gentleman I purchased it from, would you?

Miner uniforms are quite beautiful, but often it is very difficult to see
if the uniform is from the early 1930's or early post-war.

The visored cap form and its insignia anyway does not ring a bell!

Third Reich visored caps should have three red pipings and a Prussian cockade,
according the uniform-regulation Vorschrift über die bergmännische
    Kleidung
    from March 5, 1934 and Uniformen-Markt, nr.9 from
September 1, 1935. From research it is known that in some German
areas the color brown was used as its piping-color.

    From an early 1930 magazine:

From Deutsches Schneiderfachblatt, a tunic which looks as shown here,
    but with collar-patches:

I do not believe the visor hat is period, and it is probably Polish, but I would need to see the interior to be sure.
