Ade, not all can be your area, but apparently no other person comes forward
with the list of districts for the female labor-service, nor its schools. Personally I
do never rely on information from current books. I use the old published stuff!!
First I was not intending to chime in at all, but what the heck!! I will never write
a book about one of my favorites: Reichsarbeitsdienst in spite of the fact I do
have masses of RAD-information (between 3,500 and 4,000 pages about organizational
stuff and/or uniforms and ranking-systems). For what I needed this material was used
for volume 5 for the series "Headgear of Hitler's Germany".

Now the Bezirk-numbers from 1940, as well as the schools:
So, the shown XXII (22) was Südmark with headquarters at Graz in Austria.
Ade can you have a look beneath the white threads at the upper as well as the lower
part as there an abbreviation could be positioned for the manufacturer of the patch!

Wim. with all due respect my focus was on the original sleeve patch posted by Adrian, VI
Which is I believe Reichsarbeitdienstes der weiblichen Jugend to be Mitteldeutschland (Central Germany)
Bezirk District Weimar and the Bezirk School was located in Mihla.. Thank you for posting yet another great volume of original documents.. I again look forward to your comments and insight on these matters... Gwar
