David, I was wondering if the 1934 Nurnberg Sportsfest badge on the second page of the the thread is considered a scarce example. I was interested in one but I've seen them selling for quite alot. I found this one on a site selling for over $250 USD, a bit steep for a tinnie. Thanks, Al.

    Hello Al

It is a good looking badge and according to Tieste (34-02 on page 718), it is known in "bronze" and "silver".

I do not think that it is madly rare though.

Depending on the condition, I think that and in theory the badge would be fairly priced at USD 100/USD 125. I too think that the price you have suggested is and as you say, a bit steep.

    Regards,

    David

    Default Gruppe Franken 1938

    Hello Mametz

I too like the St. 244 badge, although I think that the painted wood, paper, card and even ceramic examples are not to every collectors taste.

Back to "normality" with a Gruppe Franken (Nürnberg) 1938.

    Regards,

    David

    Default Standarte 444

I think SA Standarte 444 was part of SA Gruppe Berlin-Brandenburg and which in turn included SA Brigade 25 to 30 inclusive.

    David
