It is original. Wartime production as opposed to pre war, given the materials used. 1939 pattern political eagle.

So what branch of service would this have been for? Like Wehrmacht? What is a fair price for this? Thanks Ade! Always An honor to receive your opinion.

Hi Nate, my pleasure to try and help.

This eagle was worn by Nazi Party formations. Not worn by the Wehrmacht.

I am not sure of current prices on these. Maybe around $35? But I am guessing now.
