Out of interest, what roughly is the asking price for one like yours? I'm sure £130 for a standard condition one without the box

Thanks Nick & Mike. I held out for a nice cased version so I wouldn't have to upgrade later. I paid $270 for this one. A fair price for the condition I think.

I have seen a lot worse condition cases and medals go for much more than $300.

A very nice buy and a good deal! I have a buddy who is an Olympic collector, so if you ever want to part with this, I will gladly let him know!

Don't know about you guys buy I always find the bargains at this time of year.....people looking for fast cash. I see nothing all year and I have been offered 5 items in one week at a bargian price just now!

You would definately make a profit on this medal but thats not what we collect for. Its good to get a great deal but its not a problem paying over the odds if you love the item. Spending the money is worth the hours off enjoyment you get from it.

A nice set up,keep me in mind if you want to sell it for a modest profit lol
