Dlrg grundschein

Hello!
This is my first badge DLRG. I shall never be a clear distinction between pre-war and post-war badges of this organization. So please help me and tell me whether this is a badge from the period TR.

I'm pretty sure this is a Pre-1945 Piece...Judging by the overall good-quality construction/needle & Pinplate, and Markings - which is generally lacking on modern pieces...School-children are eligible for these, btw...They have to pass a Swimming-Test at the local Schwimmbad to earn the various DLRG Patches....

This is my first and only DLRG badge, for now.
I was hoping that pre- 1945, but I do not understand the difference between pre- and post-war badges of this organization. I think they are quite similar.
