A very good morning to you all. I have just purchased these, I believe, post war DSB badges.
My question is, what is the letter 'J' for? Is it for 'youth'? And can anyone roughly date them please?

It's the Deutsches Jugendsportabzeichen [German Youth Sports Badge] in bronze as a lapel stickpin and in the cloth version for sports clothing. This design was awarded from 1952 to 2006.
So my guesstimates were fairly accurate. Thank you HPL2008.
