Dutch NSB items

I have these few items from the Dutch Nazi party, the NSB. (Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging)

Here we have a medal for the annual Christmas March in this case from 1940.

"Hou Zee" was their motto. The "WA" or Weerbaarheidsafdeling was the Dutch version of the SA.

After the German occupation of the Netherlands, the NSB gained some of the power they had always wanted. But Anton Mussert never became the Leader of the Dutch people. He was hung in May 1946.

Here is a Wolfhook cap badge of the WA. Removed from a cap.

The WA wore black caps, shirts and tunics and breeches.

Many members later joined the Dutch Legions of the Waffen SS.

I have collartab, but I don't know original or not, with metallic Wolfsangel, again, the tab recieved from US Vet, as it was the story, at my opinion nothing which will says that this is a copy, but I never seen before like that. If someone interested I can post it here

Nice NSB items you have there Adrian.

A couple of observations. Anton Mussert was actually shot not hung, not that it made much of a difference to him it's true.

The WA cap badge seems to have a silver Dutch SS type wolf hook, this style of badge was also found on their lapel badges.

I very much like the 1940 march medal...if you want to part with it any time......OK OK I know ....but its worth a mention!
