Early TENO Pin -Would appreciate opinions
This is an early TENO pin but all of the pins of this type that I have been able to reference so far have the stick pin attached. It looks to me as though the safety pin catch was soldered on at some point in time. My guess is that either the original stick pin broke off or the owner wanted a safety type pin on the badge (instead of the stick pin) and this is the result of the original stick pin being replaced with this safety pin catch.
All comments and opinions are welcome and appreciated.

From what I remember this was a donation pin to the TECHNISCHE NOTHILFE.
I could be wrong so I am open to more opinions.

I would appreciate additional opinions as well. I believe that the safety pin catch was not original to this type pin as I have not been able to find a reference to it in any of my reference books. All that I have seen have the stick pin attached. I believe that either the original pin broke off or the owner preferred a safety pin catch rather than the stick pin and had it replaced.

Beautiful original TENO pin Eric. I've been looking for one like yours with the safety pin catch. No luck yet but I'll keep looking.

Ed
