    This is another piece from the recent batch.

    I cannot read this accurately; the first letter in the first word, and the first two letters in the second word...confound me.

    I don't even know if it's German...if it is, what's the significance?

    Can any of you shed light on this piece?

    I use to study calligraphy it looks like owobf? L?itliw? It's pretty confusing to be honest

    The name is Adolf Hitler!! I believe that this is a "Patch King" patch made in the 40's -50's.

    Patch King patches are becoming collectable in their own right now. They were some of the first reproductions on the market .

    Indeed and I am sure Fred knows that they started production of wartime insignia whilst the war was still in progress, so many of them are period items.

    A handful of junk, mostly...I'm old enough to absorb it philosophically, but it's another reminder that ignorance is always costly!

    Would eBay be an appropriate market for the reproductions? I know they have restrictions on some 3rd Reich items.
