Article about: Could someone please enlighten me as to whether these are period pieces or post war? They have insignia I cannot find in any of my books (not the acorns). The construction of the board looks

    Default Forestry Boards - Period or Post War?

    Could someone please enlighten me as to whether these are period pieces or post war? They have insignia I cannot find in any of my books (not the acorns). The construction of the board looks good, but shouldn't the underside be light gray? Please excuse the shoddy photos, not mine. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    No dea if your boards are genuine, tho I've never seen that proliferation of oak leaves in any illustrations (3R isn't a strong point of mine) - maybe they were put together by the same guy who concocted this one of mine, a genuine board but with fake batons
