Forestry tunic- no insignia, authentic?
Greetings. I recently purchased this nice tricot forestry tunic for quite a bargain on ebay.
It is unpiped and has no collar tabs or shoulder boards and doesnt look like any were ever in place. It does, however, have signs that a cuff title was removed.
It is certainly a different cut from my other forestry tunic and the buttons are unlike any others i have seen.
I would appreciate any advice members can offer on the origins of such a tunic.
Also I would be grateful of any books and other resources that may document the range of Third Reich Forestry uniforms and insignia.
